Blood on Virgin Signs First Night?

KOMPAS.com - Still a virgin or not a woman actually can not be assessed from the blood when having sex on the first night.

Virgin according to the medical definition means a person who has never had sexual intercourse. Therefore, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to determine whether a person has ever had sex or not just by looking at the torn hymen or the hymen.

"Apparently in the past, a woman on the first night there is always blood. Was because at that time no introduction especially during courtship that a woman does not feel ready to have sex and cause no blood," explained Prof. Wimpie Pangkahila, Sp.And, sexologists from Udayana University, Bali, when contacted Kompas.com on Tuesday (04.12.12).

Wimpie explained, when the stimuli were obtained by a pretty girl, then penetration during sexual intercourse will run comfortably so it will not cause pain or blood stains.

"A torn hymen does not have to happen because of a sexual relationship, it could be because masturbation using fingers or falling and there is a solid body of the vagina," said the chairman of the Indonesian Association of Sexology (ASI) is.

Physical examination to determine hymen by Wimpie is something futile and useless. "Many of our people still believe the myth and require proper sex education," she said.
