First Night Sex Life Affects Lifetime Hidup

VIVAlife - How was your experience when losing virginity? Romantic, sweet, very awkward, very fast, unforgettable or not satisfactory? Researchers from the University of Mississippi, the United States found that first sexual experience will affect sex life throughout life.

The study conducted a UT psychology doctoral student Matthew Shaffer and assistant professor of psychology at the University of Mississippi Veronica Smith. The study, published in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy is the first study to determine whether first intercourse has consequences in one's life.
"The loss of virginity is often seen as an important milestone in human life, marking the transition to adulthood. We wanted to examine what effect the physical and emotional development," said Shaffer quoted by ScienceDaily.
Researchers examined 331 young men and women respondents about the impact of sexual gratification for the first time physically and emotionally in the long run. They found the experience a satisfying romance at first sex would affect sexual satisfaction beyond. More specifically, those who feel loved and respected partner during intimate moments the first time will be more satisfied emotionally.
The participants rated their first sexual experience in accordance with the emotions associated with anxiety, satisfaction and regret. They also answered questions about her sex life using a scale of measurement control, satisfaction and well-being. Participants were also asked to keep a diary that describes every sexual experience.
A series of analyzes showed that participants physically and emotionally satisfied in the first lovemaking session revealed that their sexual needs met. While they were having a sexual relationship with worry or negative reported lower sexual function.
"The study does not prove a positive first sexual experience makes a better sex life in general. But a person's experience when they lose their virginity to form a pattern in the coming years," said Shaffer.
Shaffer suspect, first sexual experience can create a general pattern of thought and behavior. It then becomes your information and experiences about sexuality.
