H5N1 Virus haunt Germany


CASE bird flu had been abated. However, the virus was found in poultry is still spreading in many regions around the world. More recently, the avian flu virus was found on a farm in Germany.


The German government said the H5N1 bird flu cases have been found in a preliminary test on a poultry farm in eastern Brandenburg. The case was found in a duck farm. Health officials Brandenburg, self examination, as reported by FoxNews.

The H5N1 virus is affecting birds but many viruses are transmitted to humans. Experts fear it could mutate into a form that could spread easily among humans to humans, who have no natural immunity to the virus.

These initial findings were confirmed by the laboratory and the final test is currently being implemented by the state ministries. The farm is plagued by the virus have been closed and the birds will be destroyed. So far, no known cause of the emergence of the virus.

Bird flu is currently present in Asian countries including China, Cambodia, and Indonesia. There are reports that in wild birds in some parts of Europe also carry the virus.

On January 29, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations' (FAO) said the government should not allow financial constraints caused by the global economic crisis is to stop them from keeping the public and fight the spread of bird flu.
