Grapefruit is not so popular in Indonesia. Citrus fruits that resemble grapefruit is proved to have many benefits for your health, including your sexual health.


Type orange one is almost similar to grapefruit, only smaller and lighter color. People eat oranges for various reasons, such as a form of control for weight loss, to get antioxidants, and enjoy a delicious and healthy snack. Oranges contain vitamin A and C. There are approximately 90 percent water and have fewer calories, but high in fiber. Grapefruit has many benefits for reproductive health. According to the University of California at San Diego, adding one or two servings of grapefruit every day along with a nutritious diet can help to control weight. Maintaining optimal body weight is important for reproductive health and overall fitness. Grapefruit also provides a source of iron and folate, which is important especially in the early stages of pregnancy.

Among women who are trying to conceive, drinking orange juice is recommended as an effort that will help in conception. Although orange juice is not considered as an alternative to increase the chances of pregnancy, many women claim that grapefruit does help them when trying to get pregnant. Some women reported that drinking grapefruit juice alter the consistency of cervical mucus, making it thinner. It provides an optimal environment for sperm to enter, and increase the chances of conception.
