The danger Same As Driving While Intoxicated Flu


SUFFERING flu at least once a year is very common for most people. Colds or flu could be worse with the additional symptoms of headache, coughing, watery eyes, nasal congestion, or sneezing. But you know, the real condition is very dangerous especially if you are doing daily activities such as driving.


Do not underestimate the disease such as the flu or a cold. According to a recent study, driving when you feel bad cold as dangerous as drunk drivers. When you are driving with a very bad flu, you tend to have a slower response to stop the car and also drive too close to the vehicle in front of you. Of course this can put you at risk of accidents, as reported by Healthmeup.

Professor Andy Smith of Cardiff University said, "When you sneeze, it will get you to look away from the road to three seconds. Having the flu or a cold drink the equivalent of three or four liters of liquor and of course can be very dangerous."

Prof. Andy also added that people who are driving while experiencing flu have a slower reaction time. Colds memerlambat reaction time of 36 milliseconds. And those who consume alcohol and driving just experiencing slow response of approximately 15 milliseconds.

Flu or cold can affect not only your physical health but also mental health. In a study conducted, showing that the cold can also affect your alertness.
